How to Save your ableton live project
To save your project as an ALS file (Ableton Live Set)
Click on 'File' in the top left corner
Click on 'Save Live Set As'
Click on 'Documents'
Click on your class folder
Name your file your names
Click save
(File/save live set as/documents/class folder/your names/save)
To save your project as a WAV file (So you can listen to it on any device)
Click on File in the top left corner
Export Audio
Make sure it's set to "WAV" for 'file type' (about in the middle of the 'export audio' box.)
Click Export
Click on Documents
Click on your class folder
Name it with both of your names.
Click save
To Upload both files to Canvas:
Click 'submit assignment' at the top right corner.
at the bottom, click on "choose file"
Click on documents/class folder/your names project folder/your names.als (ableton live set file)
Click "+add another file"
click on "choose file"
Click on documents/class folder/your names.wav (your WAV file NOT YOUR .wav.asd file!!!!!!!)
Click "submit Assignment"
In the top right of your assignment screen you should see "submission details" and see both a .als and a .wav file has been submitted.
